JACKSON, Miss.- Tickets have gone on sale to view the premiere of the James Brown movie shot in Mississippi.
The premiere will be shown on July 27 in Madison at the Malco movie theater.
Tickets to the premiere of “Get On Up” are $50, but if you pay $200 you will also get an opportunity to meet the film director, Tate Taylor, and the star of the movie, Chadwick Boseman.
All of the money raised will benefit nonprofit Mission Mississippi.
“Get On Up” opens across the nation on Aug. 1.
