The Wilkinson County Correctional Facility in Woodville remained on lock-down a day after a deadly fight among inmates that started in a housing unity around 12:15 p.m. Sunday.
Guards said at least a half dozen prisoners were involved with five of them recovering from injuries today. A sixth unidentified inmate has died. The Management and Training Corporation, which operates the facility, said the fight did not appear to be gang related. An investigation is continuing.
