Pro Burglar Walks Away From Prison Detail, Now on the Run

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss.–Professional burglar Robert Lumpkin was paying his debt to society when he decided Wednesday that was no longer an option for him. The Miss. Dept. of Corrections said the 38-year-old balding white male just walked off his job at the Lorraine Road Community Work Center in Harrison County.

Lumpking left about 4:30 Wednesday afternoon and was last seen in his green and white striped prison pants and white shirt that says “MDOC Convict”. He’s got blue eyes, brown hair and weighs 150 lbs.

Lumpkin was serving a 12 and a half year sentence, according to MDOC.

If you see him, call Corrections at 662-745-6611.
