Rain Chances, Temps on the Increase

JACKSON, Miss.–As humidity goes up, so does the chance for rain across the state. It’s now a 50/50 shot state-wide for Wednesday and temps were expected in the mid-90s, giving you a real feel of 103 or higher in some places.

That rain chance increases to 70 percent for the southern part of the state Thursday. Highs will again approach the mid 90s, but it appears that Wednesday may be the hottest day of the week.

Temps were expected to cool off just a bit for the weekend, with humidity laying off a bit, too.
