More Rain Expected Today

Jackson, Miss– The bouts of rain are not yet over for the Magnolia state. Starting in the northern part of the state, with an 80 percent chance of rain along with a high of 72 degrees. Overnight, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a cloudy low around 55. Tomorrow, there’s a 20 percent chance of precipitation. Otherwise, an overcast high of 71.

South Mississippi, a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with partly sunny skies and a high near 81. Tonight brings a 50 percent chance of showers, cloudy skies and a low of 70 degrees. Tomorrow, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers along with a cloudy high near 77.

Central Mississippi is looking at a 90 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high of 75 degrees. Tapering to a 40 percent chance of overnight rain along with a low of 59. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain tomorrow with a 74 and the promise of sunshine on Wednesday.
