3rd Annual Reindeer Run & Santa in the Harbor


December 20

Dress in your favorite Christmas costume in this 5K fun run starting in Jones Park. After you cross the finish line, visit the Santa in the Harbor activities under the Barksdale Pavilion at Jones Park. There will be Christmas cookies, refreshments, holiday treats, live holiday music, face painting, train rides, arts and crafts activities, and meet and greet with Santa.

Christmas in the Bouffa Lighted Boat Parade


December 20

Come enjoy a lighted boat parade on the Tchoutacabouffa River. Parade viewing starts at 5 p.m. from the parking of lot of “Your Mama’z House” and will take approximately 2 to 2-1/2 hours up and back the river to beginning point to see the end. There will be prizes awarded for the best decorated boat and live music.

Ballet Magnificat: Most Incredible Christmas

Ballet Magnificat presents Most Incredible Christmas at Thalia Mara Hall. The performance is a Broadway-style contemporary ballet that tells the story of a town’s contest to find the most extraordinary and incredible thing about the Christmas season. Contestants entertain the audience with loveable traditions, songs that capture the spectacle of the season, and reflections on the first Christmas.
