Representative Alan Nunnelee on Hospice, Second Brain Tumor Discovered

JACKSON, Miss– Representative Alan Nunnelee has been sent home to hospice from North Mississippi Medical Center have doctors discovered a second brain tumor. 

Nunnelee’s consultant Morgan Baldwin said Friday that the tumor was discovered last week. Nunnelee was sent home Monday from North Mississippi Medical Center, where he’d been hospitalized since late December.

Nunnelee had a stroke in June while surgeons were removing the first tumor. He was recently sworn into office from the hospital.

Baldwin says Nunnelee is at home resting and his family requests privacy during this time.
