SBA to close Hattiesburg Business Recovery Center

HATTIESBURG- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced they will be closing the Forrest County Business Recovery Center (BRC) later this week. 

The Hattiesburg BRC will officially close it’s doors on Wednesday, Mar. 22 at 6:00 p.m. They will be open for normal operating hours Monday and Tuesday.

The BRC’s serve as a branch of the SBA that provide information about disaster loans, answer any questions, and help businesses complete the SBA application.

C.E. Roy Community Center

300 E. 5th Street

Hattiesburg, MS 39401

Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Closing: Wednesday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m.

 

“The SBA is committed to facilitating economic recovery in this disaster. We want area businesses to have a resource where they can meet individually with SBA representatives and find out how a low-interest disaster loan can help them recover,” said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA’s Field Operations Center East in Atlanta.

Filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is MARCH 27, 2017. 

Filing deadline to return economic injury applications is OCTOBER 25, 2017.
