JACKSON, Miss. — News Mississippi Scam Alert: According to the Better Business Bureau scammers are targeting Mississippi Power customers. Customers are getting calls saying that their power bill is past due and that there service will be disconnected. The scammer will then offer ways for you to pay the fake bill electronically, asking you for personal information. Do not do it.
