School closings announced around the state due to inclement weather

JACKSON, MISS– Schools have closed or will close early across the state to prepare for wintry weather moving across the Magnolia state.

The following schools are closed due to winter weather:

  • Corinth Schools
  • Delta Technical College
  • DeSoto County Schools
  • Fayette Academy
  • Forest Community Head Start
  • Hansel & Gretel Center
  • Holly Springs Schools
  • Kemper Academy
  • Kemper County Schools
  • Lauderdale County School District
  • Lee County Schools
  • Main Street Restart Center
  • Marshall County Schools
  • Meridian Public School District
  • Midway Head Start Center
  • MSU Meridian Campuses
  • North Tippah County Schools
  • Northwest Mississippi Community College
  • Noxubee County Head Start
  • Noxubee County Schools
  • Patrician Academy
  • Russell Christian Academy
  • Choctaw Academy
  • South Panola Schools
  • South Tippah County Schools
  • Tate County Schools

  • Enterprise Elementary—12:45pm
  • Enterprise—12:45pm
  • Lincoln County Schools—1pm
  • Madison County Schools-12:30pm
  • Main Street Restart Center—2:00pm
  • Meridian Community College—11:00am
  • Natchez Adams Schools—11:30-1pm
  • Quitman Elementary—12:45pm
  • Quitman Jr. High—12:30pm
  • Quitman—12:45pm
  • Raymond Freshman Academy—12:45pm
  • Raymond High School—12:45pm
  • Terry High School—12:45pm
  • Wayne County Schools—one hour earlier than usual time
