Severe Weather Moving Across Mississippi: When It Could Hit, How You Can Be Ready

Jackson, Miss– A strong line of severe storms is moving across Mississippi today. With the threat of high winds and tornadoes looming, you need to be prepared.

The storm divides the state into three sections. Mid-morning and through the afternoon, you’ll see the most severe storms start to move in from the West, inching across through Vicksburg, and up into the Delta.

Lunch time and afternoon, Central Mississippi could get the heavy storms that’ll last through the evening hours.

South Mississippi, brace for a 3pm ramp up time with severe weather.

Tornadoes are possible with this storm, with the strongest possibility of large, damaging tornadoes being in North and East Central Mississippi.
