JACKSON, Miss. – Most sexual assaults across college campuses are said to be going unreported.
The “Rape, Abuse and Incest National Nework” saying that just under 300,000 sexual assaults happen every year, making it the most under reported violent crime in America
Those being targeted are mostly undergraduate females and those identified as transgendered.
according to RAINN, 98 percent of rapist will never spend a day in jail.
A large percentage of students say they choose not to report an assault, because are embarrassed.
