Magee, MISS– It’s a nightmare. You come home to find your husband or wife dead. That’s the nightmare a Magee man is living after discovering his wife dead in their home Friday.

Magee, MISS–When he pulled up after work Friday afternoon, he saw two people run out of the house and into the woods. When he got inside, he found his wife, 64 year-old Neoma Durr bound, gagged and stabbed to death.

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Department declared the two people running from the house armed and dangerous on Friday afternoon. After looking for the couple until Sunday evening, Sheriff Kenneth Lewis called off the search. But on Monday morning, the Simpson County Sheriff’s Department stated in a press release that two people had been arrested and charged in Durr’s death.

Kendrayla Keys and Cutrell Smith Varnado are both from Hattiesburg. They were picked up and charged Monday morning. Keys is Durr’s granddaughter. The couple could face capital murder charges.
