MERIDIAN, MISS– Meridian folks were sitting enjoying dinner at the new IHOP when they heard a loud boom, and the power went out.
The sinkhole that is now making national headlines is 50 wide and 600 feet long, according to emergency management workers.
Cars were swallowed and buried in mud, but thankfully, no one was hurt.
