JACKSON, MISS–There’s a slight chance of precipitation throughout the state today.

Starting in North Mississippi, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1PM today. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near 93 degrees. Tonight, it’s a 20 percent chance of rain along with partly cloudy skies and a low around 74. Tomorrow calls for a 20 percent chance of showers with a mostly sunny high near 96.
In Central Mississippi, there’s a 20 percent chance of showers today along with a partly sunny high near 92 degrees, with a heat index as high as 99 degrees. Tonight, mostly clear with a low around 75. Tomorrow should be mostly sunny, albeit, a 20 percent chance of precipitation after 1PM along with a high of 95.
South Mississippi, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today under mostly cloudy skies. We can expect a high of 90 degrees. Tonight, a 20 percent chance of rain with a mostly cloudy low around 78. Tomorrow, a 30 percent chance of showers and a mostly sunny high near 91 degrees.
