Small Chance of Rain Statewide, Storms on the Way

You may need that jacket before you walk out the door today. There’s at least a small chance of rain all across the state.

Cooler temps and rain more likely in North Mississippi, with highs creeping into the 40’s but rain chances shoot into 50 and 60 percent. Lows dipping into the thirties.

Central Mississippi temps pushing into the upper 50’s and 60’s with about a forty percent chance of rain, which will cool things down into the 50’s for the overnight low.

South Mississippi, mid 60’s for the high with a small chance of rain, overnight lows dipping into the 50’s.

Thursdays you’re not only looking at a chance of rain but a chance of storms. From Greenville down to Hattiesburg and over to Natchez, you’re looking at a slight risk of heavy rain, wind, and hail. Even though it’s a slight risk, have a plan in place just in case.
