Special Session sine die: seven bills passed

The one-day Special Session concluded Monday night, with the joint legislative body approving seven bills to clear the 2018 Fiscal Year budget and make clarifications to already existing legislation.

The Senate voted like so:

HB 1: Appropriation; Attorney General—Passed by a vote of 46 YEAS 5 NAYS

HB 2: Appropriation; Transportation, Department of—Passed by a vote of 50 YEAS 2 NAYs

HB 5: Secretary of State; revise FY17 appropriation—-Passed by a vote of 52 YEAS 0 NAYS

HB 6: Appropriation; SOS back taxes owed to locals—Passed by a vote of 52 YEAS 0 NAYS

SB 2001: Special Fund Transfers; technical amendments—Passed by a vote of 37 YEAS 15 NAYS

SB 2002: Invigorate Future Years (FORTIFY) Act; create—Passed by a vote of 39 YEAS 13 NAYS

SB 2003 Appropriation; State Aid Road Construction—Passed by a vote of 52 YEAS 0 NAYS

The House voted the following:

HB 1 Appropriation; Attorney General—Passed by a vote of 103 YEAS 4 NAYS
HB 2 Appropriation; Transportation, Department of Read—Passed by a vote of 114 YEAS 1 NAYS
HB 5 Secretary of State; revise FY17 appropriation—Passed by a vote of 113 YEAS 1 NAYS
HB 6 Appropriation; SOS back taxes owed to locals—Passed by a vote of 112 YEAS 2 NAYS
SB 2001 Special Fund Transfers; technical amendments—Passed by a vote of 73 YEAS 43 NAYS
SB 2002 Invigorate Future Years (FORTIFY) Act;—Passed by a vote of 73 YEAS 41 NAYS
