COLUMBUS, Miss. — Funeral arrangements have been set for State Senator Terry Brown, R-Columbus.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 6 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Columbus from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. with his funeral services to immediately follow. Brown will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Brown, 64, who was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013, died Thursday afternoon at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
He served in the Mississippi Senate since 2004 and was selected as President Pro Tempore in 2012.
