JACKSON, Miss. – It is not just Democrats they are after, its Republicans too says Tea Party Express Chairman, Amy Kremer. She said conservative lawmakers are not doing enough, or have given up to combat the new healthcare program.
But, even if the action to defund the program to defund the program did make it to the president, it’s not likely the he would sign it. According to Senator Chris McDaniel at some point President Obama would have to decide at whether or not he wants to defend what McDaniel calls “one of the most unpopular programs in US history” at the cost of shutting down the federal government. He says republicans do not want to shut down the federal government, they just want to defund Obamacare.
“If he chooses to do that, that’s his call, but that doesn’t mean we don’t fight,” said McDaniel.
