OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss.- An argument led to a deadly stabbing by a teen with a samurai sword late Friday night.
Police say 18-year-old Johnny Romero stabbed his neighbor 29-year-old Shannon Bowen, of Ocean Springs, with a samurai sword one time after the two got into an argument in the Gulf Park Estates area.
Bowen was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Romero is in custody charged with second-degree murder. Romero could get up to 40 years in prison if found guilty.
