Two Jackson teenagers have been charged for the alleged sexual assault of a 2-year-old baby boy.

Jackson Police officers were called after the child had been brought to the hospital around 2:00 a.m. last Thursday.

Medical staff told officers that the victim had suffered several visible injuries to his body along with other injuries that suggested he had been sexually assaulted.

An investigation by JPD has now resulted in the arrest of 15-year-old Raeveona Nicole Blackmon who has been charged with child abuse, and 14-year-old Camron Donnell Grayer who is charged with child abuse and sexual battery.

The assault allegedly occurred at a home on Kildare Court when the child was in the teenagers’ care.

Blackmon and Grayer have already made their initial appearances in court and were given a bond of $250,000 and $300,000, respectively.

Police stated that the teenagers will be charged as adults in the case.

This investigation is ongoing.
