HATTIESBURG, Miss.–Another person was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting of two Hattiesburg police officers earlier this month. The Miss. Bureau of Investigation said they arrested Broderick Kendell Varnado, 25, of Hattiesburg.
Varnado is charged with accessory after the fact of capital murder and is being held in the Forrest County Jail, awaiting his first appearance in Hattiesburg Justice Court.
The MBI did offer further details about what role Varnado may have played after the shootings of officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate. Marvin Banks is charged with pulling the trigger.
