The Murder of Officers Deen and Tate: MBI Looking for People on Surveillance Tape

HATTIESBURG, Miss.–The quick arrest of four people in the murders of Hattiesburg police officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate may not be the end of the case. The MBI has continued to investigate and late Tuesday new photos were released of two people investigators want to talk to.

The surveillance video from the motel where the SUV believed to have been driven by the shooter shows a black man and woman getting out of the vehicle after the shooting. Police found the vehicle Sunday.

The motel is where Marvin Banks was arrested. He was charged with pulling the trigger.

The people in the video may not have been directly involved in the shooting. Authorities still have not found the murder weapon.

If you know where the two people in the video can be found, call the MBI at 601-582-3529, then dial “0”.
