HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The city of Hattiesburg has been given the title and from hear-out be labeled a “Bicycle Friendly Community.”It’s an honor that’s, frankly, not handed out a lot in Mississippi. The only two other cities to have received the title are Ridgeland and Oxford.
Members from the organization “League of American Bicyclists” presented the award Monday to Mayor Johnny DuPree at city hall.
