Three arrested in Forrest prostitution sting

A sting operation in Forrest County has led to prostitution charges.

On Saturday night, Forrest County Deputies, Agents with The 12th District Narcotics Enforcement Team, Agents with MDOC and an MBI Agent conducted a prostitution sting at local hotels.

This sting operation along U.S. 49 led to the arrests of 3 women, and they have now been charged with drug and prostitution charges:

  • Stephanie Alford, 25, of Hattiesburg, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of prostitution, as well as possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
  • Kristen Robinson, 27, of Hattiesburg, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of prostitution.
  • Juliannah Heggins, 24, of Hattiesburg, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of prostitution

This marks the third raid of local hotels in recent months after two similar stings were conducted in late 2018, resulting in nearly 20 arrests.

The recently formed Pine Belt Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is also working alongside law enforcement in the area to crack down on sex trafficking.
