Three charged in Hinds County drug bust

Yesterday evening, the Richland Police Department and Hinds County Narcotics Agents arrested three Jackson residents after making a drug bust at a home on Raymond Road in South Jackson.

Officers found methamphetamine, xanax, marijuana, stolen firearms and money. They also stated that three dead puppies were found in a trash can and additional charges may be made for animal cruelty.

They arrested 18 year-old Simeon Rolle, 21 year-old Omar Silas and 33 year-old Curtis Harrison.

Silas was out on bond on a stolen firearm charge.

He and Harrison are charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm and stolen firearms.

Harrison is facing an additional charge for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
