Thunderstorms and severe weather – 11-1-18

Here’s a quick rundown of the weather today across Mississippi. Severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings are being issued during the early morning hours.

In north Mississippi, expect cooler temperatures with cloudy skies and thunderstorms in the morning. There is a chance of showers during the day and some thunderstorms may be severe in the morning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. At night, cooler temperatures with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers. Lows will dip down into the upper 40s.

In central Mississippi, showers and thunderstorms likely in the morning with possible tornado warnings and then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms will likely be severe and highs will reach into the lower 70s. Tonight, cooler with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers in the evening. Lows will cool off near 50.

In south Mississippi, showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe in the morning and highs will be in the mid-70s. Tonight, cooler temperatures with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers in the evening along with a slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows will drop down into the lower to mid-50s.
