Thursday weather rundown 5-4-17

Storms blowing out of the state this morning, leaving scattered rain in a few places, and much cooler air across the state.

North Mississippi waking up with showers today, and temperatures in the lower 60s: those cooler temperatures lasting all day long: your high not getting far from 60. Expect heavy clouds and spotty rain to last thruout your Thursday. Tonight’s low falling to the upper 40s. Scattered showers persist tonight and into tomorrow: your Friday high only making it to the upper 50s.

Central Mississippi enduring showers and thunder all night, expecting overcast skies and strong wind gusts today, so grab that sleeve before you hit the door today. You’ve got a slim chance for rain today, but don’t count on it. Tonight’s low falling to near 50. Tomorrow look for more sunshine and a high bouncing to near 70.

South Mississippi also riding out some heavy weather overnight, continuing thru the morning and finally relenting. Your high a blustery, cloudy 70. Tonight’s low dipping to a brisk 50. Tomorrow returning to a sunny high near 70.
