Rain chances increase as the afternoon wears on, with more expected overnight. Your low dipping to the lower 70s. Tomorrow look for a 50/50 chance of getting wet.

Central Mississippi riding out overnight thunder, with plenty left over this morning. You’re in for 90 percent coverage today, so stay weather aware. Today’s high not too bad: only reaching the upper 70s. Expect rain and thunderstorms to mark your overnight as well. Tomorrow brings more rain, but with more heat accompanying: your high reaching the lower 90s Friday.

South Mississippi you’re in for another drenching today, with thunderstorms cropping up throughout. Some could turn severe. Your high breaking into the lower 80s. Tonight, your rain chances will begin to fall off, but will kick up again come tomorrow.
