LEE COUNTY, Miss. — A three-year-old has been severely beaten and his grandparents are now facing charges.
The child’s injuries are so bad that the judge started crying when shown a picture of the child. Investigators say Johnny West beat the child and his wife; Emma tried to cover up the bruises with make up. The grandparents were just days away from being granted full custody of the little boy.
