MERIDIAN, Miss. – A four-year-old has died after being found lying face down in a bathtub at a Meridian home.
Ambulance workers, called to the apartment Thursday afternoon, rushed the toddler to the hospital with a police escort, but he was pronounced dead in the emergency room. Investigators are calling the death a suspected drowning, but expect to know the official cause of death after an autopsy is completed. The child’s name was not released.
