Top Shelf Weather May Last Through the Weekend

JACKSON, Miss.–It’s going to be one of those take the kids to the park kind of days, with maybe a shower or two in the afternoon. This nice weather may last through the weekend.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Latrice Maxey said a cold front came through the state and will have highs near 80 north, mid 80s central and just a little warmer than that south.

“It should be relatively dry, a little bit cooler with temperatures closer to normal.

She said early next week there could be a warm front that could move through Mississippi.

“That may bring some small rain chances,” she said.

But, you can expect blue skies and mild temperatures at least through Saturday or Sunday.
