Hearing pushed back for man charged with killing a toddler

HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss.- The hearing for a Hancock County man charged with capitol murder has been pushed back to June 7th.

Charles Connetti III was charged with the death of Maddox Vieregge. Maddox, a 15-month-old child, died due to severe head trauma that investigators believe was caused by Connetti.

The child died at the New Orleans hospital on April 2nd.

Connetti was dating the child’s mother but was not his biological father.

His own mother, Carmen Connetti, claims that the boy died after falling out of his bed twice, and that her son is innocent.
