Trying to Keep You Safe During Holiday Travel

JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is about to started its Thanksgiving Holiday Travel Enforcement Period. It’ll start Wednesday at 6 p.m. and run through this coming Sunday at midnight. During this time troopers will be assigned to certain Interstate and Highway systems in order to combat reckless driving and speeding.

Last year, MPH investigated 179 crashes including three that were deadly.
