Tuesday forecast: Small chance of rain, most likely in South Mississippi

JACKSON, MISS–Low likelihood of precipitation throughout most of the state today. 

The most action will be seen in South Mississippi where there is a 50 percent chance of rain under mostly cloudy skies with a high of 87 degrees  today. Breezes kicking up to around 15 mph, so hang onto your ball cap.
Tonight, still a 50 percent chance of precipitation with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 76. Still plenty breezy, from 5-15 mph. Tomorrow, that 50 percent chance of rain lingers on. Not quite as breezy with a partly sunny high of 87.
Central Mississippi, a 20 percent chance of showers today, mainly in the afternoon. Partly sunny with a high of 91 degrees.
Tonight, partly cloudy with a low of 74. Tomorrow, a 20 percent chance of rain under mostly sunny skies. Expect a high of 93 degrees.
North Mississippi, today brings a 30 percent chance of rain after 1 PM. Otherwise, mostly sunny with a high of 92.
Tonight, mostly cloudy, dipping down to 71 degrees. Tomorrow, 20 percent chance of showers in the afternoon, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 93 degrees.
