Two Men Arrested for Nearly $100,000 in Drugs Hidden in Teddy Bear

VICKSBURG, Miss.- A month long investigation has led to the arrest of two men after cops found a teddy bear full of ice with an estimated street value of $100,000, according to the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

Nicholas Ringold and Ronald Vaughn are believed to be trafficking large amounts of meth from Coachella, California to Vicksburg, Mississippi, said MBN Director Sam Owens.

Ringold, 33, of Vicksburg, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell or distribute and Vaughn, 34, of Picayune, for conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to sell or distribute after execution of a warrant in Vicksburg, Director Owens said.

Agents also seized more than $3,000 in cash.

Ringold’s bond set at $100,000 and Vaughn’s bond is pending the outcome of a parole revocation hearing.

Both men are being held at the Warren County Detention Center in Vicksburg.
