BILOXI, Miss. – Two conventional tackle state fishing records have been certified by the state Commission on Marine Resources.
.John Joseph Bullock of Gulfport broke the record for Gray snapper with a 15-pound, 7.79-ounce fish. The previous record was 14 pounds, 7 ounces.
Kerry G. Hester of Ocean Springs established a state record for Fat sleeper with a fish that weighed 1.058 ounces.
