Tyner Backs Off From Public Commissioner Seat

JACKSON, Miss– Mitch Tyner, the lawyer that stood beside Chris McDaniel during his challenge to the republican senatorial run-off, is stepping down from the race for Public Service Commissioner. 

Tyner released in a statement that the senatorial race from last year is part of the reason why he won’t be running for public service commissioner.

“Last year the party had a very divisive U.S. Senate race,” says Tyner in a statement, “the party cannot remain so divided and continue to win elections, especially in districts so evenly split like Central Mississippi.”
