Update: School Secretary Waiting on Initial Hearing in Kemper Co. Kidnapping

KEMPER COUNTY, Miss.–Authorities confirmed to News Mississippi on Monday that two others in custody are waiting for their initial hearings.

One of those in custody is confirmed to be the school secretary at East Kemper Elementary School where six-year-old JaShayla Hopson was taken from last week.

Jesse Pollard, 54-years-old, was taken into custody last week in Alabama and was denied bond.  She now remains in federal custody.

School secretary 51-year-old Wanda Dancy and 25-year-old Shemarius Ruffin are both expected to be in court Thursday for their initial hearings.
