HATTIESBURG, Miss. — University of Southern Mississippi has named Bill McGillis as their new athletic director. He was the assistant athletic director at University of South Florida.
“I know how important this decision is for you. I know it was important to you, and the amount of confidence that was entrusted to me, is something I will never forget.” said McGillis.
McGills replaces former direct Jeff Hammond whose contract was not renewed after it expired in June.
