Vanderbilt Rape Suspect Kicked off Team at Mississippi School

LORMAN, Miss.  – The Vanderbilt University football player from Adams County that was kicked off the team after being arrested for rape and aggravated sexual battery has now been kicked off the team at Alcorn State University too.

Alcorn’s president says the University didn’t go over the allegations against JaBorian “Tip” McKenzie with a fine tooth comb and used poor judgment when they allowed him to join their football team.

McKenzie is one of four Vanderbilt players banned from the campus after being accused of raping an unconscious student in a dorm room.  McKenzie says he is not guilty.
