JACKSON, Miss– Former Ole Miss football star and current New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning and BankPlus presented a $627,000 check to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital Thursday.
The money is a collection of fees from specially marked debit cards. Card carriers elect for a BankPlus card that has the Blair E. Batson logo on it. The card comes with a $12 annual fee, which is donated to the hospital, along with five cents of every purchase on that card.
“I’ve had a relationship with the hospital for about eleven years now,” says Manning, “it is always good to come back and see the progress. I’m excited to be here.”
