Warmer Than Usual, Storms to Cool Things Off This Weekend

Jackson, Miss–You’ll see more clouds today but it’s still warmer than usual across the state. 

North Mississippi, high in the 60’s and cloudy, lows dropping into the 40’s.Central Mississippi, partly sunny, getting into the 70’s today, lows in the upper 40’s.Wednesday in South Mississippi, sunny, high in the 70’s, dropping into the 50’s overnight.

Thursday brings more clouds across the state.North Mississippi, highs in the 70’s, lows in the 40’s.Still warmer in Central Mississippi with highs in the mid 70’s, lows in the upper 40’s,And for South Mississippi, Thursday will be cloudy, mid 70’s for the high, 50’s overnight.

Friday could bring rain for North Mississippi, Central and South just more clouds, rain through the weekend. By Sunday, it could be severe weather, including heavy rain, wind, and tornadoes cannot be ruled out, reports the National Weather Service. While it is still too early to narrow down timing or a specific threat, News Mississippi will continue to follow the weather pattern as it develops.
