Watch Out on the Roads: Several Wrecks in Mississippi Over the Weekend

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss.–Be careful driving. There were some rough wrecks over the July 4th weekend in Mississippi, at least one of them ending with someone dead.

In George County, a Toyota 4-Runner left the road Sunday morning, hit the bank and bended up in Black Creek. Amanda Ramshur, 26,  of Biloxi died. She was the only one in the car.

Slow down if the road is wet. Hydroplaning on the wet highway is what caused a wreck Saturday evening on Hwy. 48 in Magnolia. Three people were in the car when it skidded and hit a tree. All three people ended up in bthe hospital.

In Prentiss County last night, two trucks hit and one ended up in the ditch on Hwy. 45.

A rainy rescue in Jones County after a car rolled over because of the weather Sunday afternoon about 2. Two women, one 67 and the other one 90 ended up in the hospital. But firefighters ended up having to get in the ditch while they were trying to get the women out. The rain filled the ditch up and a cottonmouth swam right by ’em. The ladies were in serious condition.
