Wednesday weather rundown 4-26-17: storms expected tonight

North Mississippi feeling temperatures in the upper 50s this morning, but you can expect a high in the mid-to-upper 80s today. The National Weather Service is monitoring a heavy storm system that’s predicted to hit the north Delta later this evening and spread south and east across the state overnight, but will clear out tomorrow morning.

Central Mississippi waking up in the lower 60s today, but warming to the upper 80s for your high. Winds in excess of 20mph gusts will mark your Wednesday, and that’ll be the case across the state, so you may want to tie down any lawn ornaments or furniture. Storms expected to blow thru tonight, but things will clear up for you tomorrow as well.

South Mississippi meeting temperatures in the mid 60s under clear skies this morning: your high bouncing into the lower 80s today. You’re in for some thunderstorms tonight as well, growing more scattered and widespread closer to the morning hours.
