North Mississippi waking up in the mid 70s this morning: some rolling fog banks are expected to mark your early Wednesday. Expect temperatures to top out in the lower 90s today, with a few clouds and a slim chance to catch a stray shower throughout the afternoon. Tonight returning to the mid 70s for your low. Tomorrow looking like a little better chance for afternoon showers: about a 50 percent chance with a high in the lower 90s.

Throughout central Mississippi you’re waking up with some heavy humidity after last night’s rain moved through. You’re looking at a small possibility of rain today, but kicking up after lunchtime. Look for thunderstorms to return for your afternoon drive, and maybe a few to stick around closer to sunset. You can expect a rerun tomorrow: hot, humid and afternoon showers rolling through.

South Mississippi seeing more scattered showers today and throughout the rest of the week: your high temperatures only reaching the upper 80s, but it’s that humidity that will be affecting you the most.
