Week Starts Off On A Wet Note

Jackson, Miss– After a picturesque weekend, this Monday in Mississippi is starting off on a wet note.

In North Mississippi, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, mainly in the afternoon. Aside from that, partly sunny with a high near 75. Windy too, with gusts up to 30 MPH. Tonight, an 80 percent chance of showers and t-storms with a low around 54. Winds, once again, gusting up to 30 MPH. Tomorrow, there’s a 20 percent chance of more showers, then clearing to a high near 64, with gusts up to 25 MPH.
 
Central Mississippi, a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. Expect a cloudy high of 77 with gusty winds up to 20 MPH.  Tonight, as in the North, an 80 percent chance of precipitation with a low around 61. Tomorrow, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning. Then, partly sunny with a high near 70.
 
South Mississippi, a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with a high of 77. Tonight, a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a mostly cloudy low around 67. Tomorrow, a 40 percent chance of those aforementioned showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning with a mostly cloudy high near 79.
