Here’s a quick rundown of what the weather is looking like today across the Magnolia state.

In North Mississippi, expect partly sunny skies in the morning, then clearing up. Highs will be in the mid-30s. The lowest wind chill readings will range from 5 to 10 in the morning. Tonight, clear skies with lows around 15 degrees and wind chill readings will vary between 1 to 6.

In Central Mississippi, a hard freeze warning is in effect until noon today. Also experiencing sunny skies with highs in the upper 30s. The lowest wind chill reading will be around 9 to 14 in the morning. At night, clear skies with lows near 18 degrees and wind chill readings will range from 5 to 10.

In South Mississippi, a hard freeze warning is in effect until 11 a.m. Thursday. Today, more sunny skies with highs in the lower 40s. The lowest wind chill readings will range from 12 to 17 in the morning. Tonight, clear skies with lows in the lower 20s and wind chill readings between 8 and 13.
