In Central Mississippi, clouds will cover the sky today. Expect some light rain in the morning and then some thunderstorms during the day. Showers are likely throughout the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s during the heat of the day and tonight those temperatures will drop down into the low to mid-60s.
In South Mississippi, mostly cloudy today. Some patchy fog in the morning with a chance of showering. Those will escalate to some possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s and tonight mostly cloudy with some showers scattered through the night. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows tonight will drop down into the mid-60s.
