Here’s what the weather forecast looks like across the Magnolia state today.

In North Mississippi, mostly cloudy today with a slight chance of showers in the morning and afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s and tonight a mostly cloudy evening, then clearing. Lows will be in the lower 40s.

In Central Mississippi, a dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. this morning. Cloudy skies early in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Showers are likely in the morning and then the chance lessens but continues into the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 70s. Tonight, partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the evening. Lows will be in the upper 40s and there will be some patchy fog after midnight.

In South Mississippi, there is a dense fog advisory in effect until 8 a.m. this morning. Mostly cloudy today with some areas of fog making the visibility near zero at times this morning. A There is also a chance of showers. Again, visibility could be near zero at times during the day. Highs will be in the mid-70s during the day and tonight mostly cloudy with some areas of fog. Visibility tonight is near one-quarter mile or less and then visibility lessens to near zero after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 50s. There is also a slight chance of showers during the night.
